Hi everyone! My name is Liz, and I am the new Community Manager for Stunlock Studios and Battlerite. Chris mentioned a couple weeks ago in his last entry that there would be some Dev Blog Lites, and that’s why I’m here! I figured this was as good a time as any to introduce myself, as I’ll be interacting with everyone a lot more in the near future. Chris won’t be vanishing completely though, he’ll still be hanging around and responding to questions as more of a liaison directly between the developers and the community.Read more »
Good day all and welcome to another dev blog by me, your friendly neighborhood Stunlocker Christian. In this Dev Blog we will speak in short about some of the things Stunlock will be focusing on in the remaining time before the Free-To-Play release. And no, I can’t give you any news on that date quite yet, but we’ll be sure to tell you as soon as we can! This post is a bit shorter than normal as there are still details being worked out that I can’t divulge, but hopefully it will still be at least slightly interesting.Read more »
Good day all! Christian here and after a short break from Dev Bloggin’, I’m back to once again share another post with you. Hey everyone! Shelt (from way back in Dev Blog #2) here to once again to talk a bit about the previous season and about some of the updates for Season 4. During Season 3 the main concerns raised by the community had been regarding uneven matchmaking, less skilled players reaching the higher leagues, and win streak bonus rating inflation. Read more »
Welcome to another post hosted by your humble dev blogger, Christian! Today, we are once again talking about a few topics pertaining to the upcoming Summer Mega Patch. Follow that link if you want to get a feeling for the overall scope of the patch! Now, for this post in particular we’ll go into some more detail regarding Blossom and also talk a bit about the upcoming Rocket Balloon Brawl.
Hey all, Christian here with some more information about the upcoming patch I talked a bit about last week. If you missed it in last week’s dev blog, I talked in short about changes that will come with the next major patch and which are meant to prepare Battlerite for Free-To-Play (and complement Battlerite Lite). The three things I brought up was an updated Quest System, the introduction of Account Levels, and the new currency currently called “Gems”. In this week’s post we’ll check in again on the new player experience, as it’s also slated to arrive in the same patch, and take a closer look at what the new Quest System entails.
I just want to touch on a few things before we get going though. Read more »
Hello everybody! It is I, the regular dev blog representative Christian, here to greet you to another update. Rather than doing the regular thing I do (retelling the tales of the previous week at Stunlock Studios), I’m doing something different this time around. Let me introduce you guys to Battlerite Lite. Christian here, humbly presenting you with this week’s rendition of ‘What Happened Last Week?’. Once again we have a shorter post as we continue to work on things that will get a proper reveal later on. Apologies, but I promise the eventual reveals will be exciting! First, let’s talk about last week’s patch. Read more »
As usual, it is me, Christian, who’s your host on this tour through what happened at Stunlock last week. However, a lot of work consisted of things we can’t really show yet, so this week’s rendition is a bit lighter than usual. Regardless, I’ll go into some more general issues to start with. Read more »
