We are deploying a Hotfix today at 17:00 CEST (11:AM EDT / 8:00 AM PDT), which will require some downtime. The servers can be down for up to two hours. We will also be doing some server maintenance during the downtime.
The hotfix contains the following fixes:
- “Kinetic Energy” (R) can now pass through walls again
- Fixed an issue with Varesh’s legendary weapons which made certain effects look strange (Static)
- Bakko’s Battlerite “Howling Axes” is now compatible with the Battlerite “Rampage”
- You should no longer be able to enter a regular arena match as “Random Champion”
- Random Champion Duel
- Odeum replays should now work properly for Brawl matches
- Fixed an issue with how disconnected players were handled
- Observer settings should now work properly again

Patch 0.13.1 will arrive on Tuesday August 29th. The servers will be brought down for patching at 15:00 CEST (9:00 AM EDT / 6:00 AM PDT). The patching process can last up to 2 hours. Read more »

Hey everyone! Time for another Dev Blog Lite, written by your favorite Liz
ard Person. First, before anyone asks – vacation time is over. By the time this goes up most everyone will be back at the office and at work, with only a couple exceptions. What this means is that you’ll get your weekly Dev Blogs, we’ll be working on new content, and we’ll be working on new events. I really wish I could give you more about our plans, but I really can’t at the moment. We can only ask for your trust when we say that we’re bringing you more content. So thank you for your patience and for your passion – we appreciate both.
Moving forward, I was originally going to write about E3, but I decided that looking to the past when everyone wants to know the future wasn’t the best idea. And so I’ll tell you a bit about the present – about events going on in other regions and our lovely Regional Managers, who have helped keep me sane while everyone was away. Hi everyone! My name is Liz, and I am the new Community Manager for Stunlock Studios and Battlerite. Chris mentioned a couple weeks ago in his last entry that there would be some Dev Blog Lites, and that’s why I’m here!
